H-U431. U.S. VietNam War Green
Beret.. (One of the first Nam
issue Berets) When the Green Beret's were first granted the
right to wear the Green Beret as their official headgear during the
VietNam War, there were no other units being issued berets, so supply
had non in stock... The first Green Berets were bought from Canada...
This is one of those early Canadian berets, it is marked inside Toronto
Canada, its a size 7 1/8 and dated 1962, It has a 1st Special Forces
unit flash on the front.....$550.00

still attached... This leather flying helmet has a tear in the side and
right near the tear is painted with a white paint of the period "HAL
711" and tag inside the flight helmet reads: "Type B-6
