PA-243.  WWII 1944 Allied Safe Conduct Pass  -- Now this is an interesting item --  The Allies droped these behind the German lines to get German Soldiers to give up... However the condition of this pass is very worn, I have put it in a plastic holder, it looks good there, just do not take it out of the Holder.... It reads as follows::  "Safe Conduct  The German soldier who carries this safe conduct is using it as a sign of a genuine wish to give himself up. He is to be disarmed, to be well looked afer, to receive food and medical attention as required and to be removed from the danger zone as soon as possible. signed   Dwight D. Eisenhower   supreme commander -- Allied Expeditionary Forces  1944 .... This Safe Conduct is written in both German and English... It has the U.S. & British seal at the Top....SOLD
